Go Thrive is a mental health coaching program built for student athletes — by someone who has lived it. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or substance use, you're not weak. You're human. And there's a Game Plan for that.
Reimagining Athletic Mental Wellness
Why Are Student Athletes Suffering in Silence?
Athletes are taught to push through pain. To be mentally tough. To never show weakness. But what happens when the real battle is happening inside?
Student athlete mental health is a growing crisis — and the stigma around it makes it worse. Only 10% of student athletes who experience anxiety or depression seek professional help, compared to 30% of their non-athlete peers. The culture that makes athletes great can also be the barrier that keeps them from getting help.

or depression seeks help31% of male and 48% of female student athletes report depression or anxiety symptoms annually
1 in 10 student athletes has developed a Substance Use Disorder

Built by an Athlete. Backed by Experience.
Go Thrive was founded by someone who knows exactly what it's like to use sports as a way to survive — and what happens when the game ends. A three-sport athlete turned scholarship football player turned college dropout, his journey through DUIs, rehab, recovery, and eventually a Master's Degree in Addiction Studies wasn't a straight line. But it led here.
Now, as a certified Recovery Coach, he's turning that lived experience into a lifeline for the next generation of athletes.
